What IP Fist does
IP Fist sells proxies across five separate networks. If you run any kind of automated checkout, proxies are the component that decides whether tasks work or get blocked, and they are the recurring cost most people underestimate when they start.
Why proxies matter
Every request your bot makes carries an IP address. Run ten tasks from your home connection and a retailer sees ten requests from one place, which is exactly what their bot protection exists to catch. Proxies give each task a different address so the traffic looks like separate people.
Almost every retailer guide in the ResellRadar library comes back to the same point: when tasks are failing, it is usually the proxies rather than the configuration.
The five networks
- Residential. Real home IPs across 195 or more countries, with rotating sessions and city-level targeting. The default recommendation for most UK retail sites.
- ISP. Static IPs built for account stability. Faster and steadier under heavy drop traffic, and better where you need the same IP to persist across a session.
- Unlimited residential. Residential IPs on unlimited traffic at a fixed monthly price, rather than metered by gigabyte.
- Mobile. Real 4G and 5G carrier IPs with dynamic rotation. The highest trust scores, and the most expensive.
- Datacenter. Fast and cheap with unlimited bandwidth, and blocked quickest on protected retail sites.
Metered or unlimited
This is the decision that actually affects your bill.
Metered residential charges by data used, which suits botting in bursts around scheduled drops. Unlimited residential is a fixed monthly cost, which suits sustained monitoring where you would otherwise burn through gigabytes.
Either way, longer monitor delays and fewer tasks per proxy cut your usage and, on most sites, improve your success rate at the same time. Start smaller than you think you need and scale once you know your real consumption.
Matching proxy to site
Proxy region generally needs to match the site region, so a UK proxy for a UK retailer. Pokemon Center is the exception noted in our guides, where the region is set by the profile rather than the proxy.
