What Outsource Central does
Outsource Central recruits and trains virtual assistants for Amazon FBA sellers, then places them with you. Their VAs are based in the Philippines and go through structured training before placement rather than arriving raw.
Two roles are offered, and they solve different problems.
Sourcing VAs
Trained to find profitable products for your store. Sourcing is the highest-volume, most repetitive task in FBA and the one that caps how fast you can grow, because one person can only scan so many products a day.
A sourcing VA increases your deal flow and adds consistency, since the work happens whether or not you had time that week.
Training runs four weeks of live sessions and supervised practice, with trainees sourcing real deals assessed by their team before they pass, followed by a week of internship with a client.
Admin VAs
Trained over two weeks on the backend work: Seller Central management, reconciliation, chasing missed deliveries and lost stock, ungating, IP claims, invoice organisation, price adjustments, inventory and prep sheets, and stranded inventory and removals.
This is the work that quietly eats time without producing anything, and the work most sellers put off until it becomes a problem. The reconciliation side is where it often pays for itself, since Amazon regularly loses or damages stock and nobody claims it back unless someone is looking.
Cost
- Sourcing VA. £649.99 one-time hiring and training fee.
- Admin VA. £499, described as a launch price.
- Monthly wage. Paid by you on an ongoing basis, on top of the hiring fee. Ask for the current figure before you commit, since it is not published.
Included: a consultation call covering onboarding and how to manage a VA, and a 12 week aftercare period from the point of hire with replacement VAs if the placement does not work.
Do the arithmetic before committing. The hiring fee is the small part. The wage is the ongoing commitment, and a VA needs to generate meaningfully more than their annual cost to have been worth it. That is achievable at volume and is not at small scale, so be honest about which you are.
Before you hire anyone
Taking someone on, even remotely and through an agency, comes with obligations worth understanding.
The key question is whether the person is genuinely engaged by the agency or effectively working for you. That distinction affects employment status, who is responsible for what, and how the arrangement is treated for tax. Get clear on where liability sits before you sign, and put the arrangement in front of an accountant if you are trading through a limited company.
Think about access too. A VA working in Seller Central has your business account, supplier information and potentially customer data. That has data protection implications, and it means agreeing up front what happens to that access when the arrangement ends.
