Ticket Reselling

Ticket reselling community with 14 years in the game.

What Savage Sourced does

Savage Sourced is a community focused on ticket reselling, with a team that has been in the space for more than fourteen years. Drop alerts, strategy and the kind of insider detail that only comes from having worked a market for a long time.

Why tickets are a different game

Most of what ResellRadar covers is physical stock: you buy it, you hold it, you sell it, and if it does not move this month it moves next month. Tickets do not work like that.

A ticket has a hard expiry. Come event day it is worth nothing, which means the market is far less forgiving of a bad entry than trading cards or trainers are. Pricing also moves in both directions much faster, driven by announcements, support acts, extra dates and how the venue releases inventory.

That volatility is where the returns are and it is also where people lose money. Tickets are not a beginner category, and the people doing well in it have usually been doing it a long time.

What you need to know before you start

Ticket resale in the UK is genuinely regulated, unlike most reselling. The main things to be aware of:

  • Some tickets cannot legally be resold above face value. Football matches in England and Wales are the clearest case, where unauthorised resale is a criminal offence under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act.
  • Disclosure requirements apply. Secondary platforms must display specified information such as seat, block and any restrictions, and the Consumer Rights Act sets out what has to be provided.
  • Event organisers routinely cancel tickets identified as bought for resale, and their terms usually allow it. A cancelled ticket is a total loss, not a discount.
  • The rules have been under active review. Government consultation on resale price caps and platform obligations has been ongoing, so check the current position rather than assuming what was true last year still holds.

None of that means the category does not work. It means the compliance side is a bigger part of the job here than it is anywhere else in reselling, and it is worth understanding before you commit capital.

Who this suits

Members who already trade tickets and want better sourcing, or members curious about the category who would rather learn it from people who have been in it fourteen years than work it out on their own money.
