What Slashd does
Slashd monitors the full catalogues of 129 UK retailers and alerts you when a price drops sharply, whether that is clearance, a genuine sale or a pricing error. Catalogues are rechecked roughly every six seconds and alerts fire within a second of a change, which matters because on a real mispricing the window is minutes.
The stacking bit, which is the actual differentiator
Most price trackers stop at the shelf price. Slashd also checks what else is available on that product: live voucher codes, current cashback rates, multi-buy pricing and Subscribe & Save, then combines them where they legitimately can be, and shows you the landed cost with each layer itemised.
That changes what a good deal looks like. A quiet 20% off with a code and cashback on top can beat a noisy 30% off, and their feed ranks on stacked landed cost rather than headline discount. Worth verifying each layer yourself at checkout, since codes expire and cashback rates move.
How it differs from what we already run
ResellRadar's monitors are built around drops: new product landing, restocks, TCG releases, retailers you are watching because something specific is coming. You know roughly what you are looking for.
Price drop monitoring is the opposite. You are not watching a product, you are watching for anything that suddenly becomes mispriced, across categories you would never think to check. Their retailer list runs from Screwfix and Halfords to Holland and Barrett and Ocado. That is a different sourcing method to ours and the two work alongside each other.
Alerts
Drops are graded Deal, Steal or Glitch by how far the price fell, so the significant ones stand out of the feed. You can filter by retailer, minimum drop percentage and keyword include or exclude rules.
Alerts land in their dashboard and as desktop notifications with sound, and can post to your own Discord server via webhook if you run one.
What to be realistic about
Pricing errors get cancelled. Slashd say so themselves: under UK law a listed price is an invitation to treat rather than a binding offer, so a retailer can cancel and refund an order priced in error right up until it ships. Small mistakes are often honoured, obvious ones usually are not.
Treat a confirmation email as a maybe rather than stock in hand, and do not list something you have not received.
Speed is also the whole game. If you are not in a position to act within minutes, the alerts are worth less to you than the subscription costs.
Cost
Free plan. Three rotating stores, ten deals a day, dashboard access and a daily recap of what you missed. No card required.
Full access, £24.95 a month. Every retailer, unlimited deals and filters, stacked savings, Discord webhook delivery and desktop alerts. VAT included.
The trial is seven days and requires a card, with nothing charged until day seven. Set a reminder if you are only testing. Your rate is locked while the subscription stays active, but cancelling and resubscribing later puts you on whatever the standard price is then.
Start on the free plan if you want to see the feed before committing.
