What VisionNetworks does
VisionNetworks supplies ISP and residential proxies for automation. If you run bots, proxies are the component that decides whether tasks work or get blocked, and they are the recurring cost most people underestimate when they start.
Why proxies matter
Every request your bot makes carries an IP address. Run ten tasks from your home connection and a retailer sees ten requests from one place, which is exactly what their bot protection exists to catch. Proxies give each task a different address so the traffic looks like separate people.

ISP or residential
- Residential. IPs from real consumer connections. Slower, but far less likely to be flagged, and the default recommendation for most UK retail sites.
- ISP. Datacenter-hosted IPs registered to consumer ISPs. Faster and steadier under heavy drop traffic, and better where a session needs the same IP throughout, though they flag more easily on some retailers.

Getting the most out of a pool
Longer monitor delays and fewer tasks per proxy cut your data usage and, on most sites, improve your success rate at the same time. If errors persist across multiple IPs, the pool itself is flagged and you need a fresh set rather than more attempts on the same one.
Start smaller than you think you need. Buying a large pool before you know your real consumption is the common mistake.
Why a second proxy partner
Proxy quality moves. A pool that performs well on a retailer this month can get flagged next month, and having more than one supplier means you are not stuck when that happens.
